What you'll do
- Independently review assigned federal, state, and local returns for accuracy, completeness, eligibility, documentation, and compliance with IRS VITA/TCE and CWF standards. Research tax questions within program scope
- provide technical guidance and coaching to Tax Associates
- support corrections and quality improvement
- prioritize assigned drop-off reviews
- communicate unresolved issues
- maintain return-status records
- protect taxpayer information
- and escalate out-of-scope, fraud, identity, or compliance concerns.
