In-Home Caregiver, Senior Care

The In-Home Caregiver role is onsite in Overland Park, KS, and pays $18 per hour. Seniors Helping Seniors Kansas City Metro South matches seniors who need help with seniors who want to help throughout the Kansas City area. Working under the Administrator’s supervision and according to each client’s plan of care, the caregiver provides personal care and homemaker assistance. The role also observes and documents client conditions and care, reporting changes and incidents to support safe, responsive in-home services.

What you'll do

• Assist clients with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, walking, and transfers
• observe physical, mental, and emotional conditions
• report and document changes
• provide medication reminders
• prepare meals, do dishes and laundry, shop, and perform household chores
• provide companionship and transportation
• report incidents and emergencies
• maintain work records and use equipment safely.
