Through audits, corrective-action follow-up, quality agreements, and process improvements, the role contributes to supplier performance and ongoing quality improvement.

What you'll do

• Organize and facilitate supplier audits
• analyze supplier compliance and recommend findings and follow-up actions
• serve as auditor or lead auditor
• develop audit plans and scope with Supplier Quality Engineering
• review supplier changes, prior audits, and performance
• review supplier procedures against compliance requirements
• write audit reports and present findings and recommendations
• lead closing meetings and follow-up
• evaluate corrective-action responses
• maintain the supplier audit schedule and Approved Distributor List
• develop and update Supplier Quality Agreements
• address supplier quality issues
• maintain records
• manage nonconformance reports and corrective and preventive actions
• improve procedures, work instructions, and controls
• manage and release engineering change orders
• communicate with suppliers, distributors, internal departments, and customers
• mentor junior analysts.
