Veterinary Assistant

What you'll do

• Provide professional care to patients and clients
• answer phones and route inquiries
• assist veterinarians with exams, diagnostics, treatments, and surgery
• restrain animals using low-stress handling techniques
• administer medications, prepare vaccines, collect samples, and perform basic lab tests as directed
• enter treatment plans and maintain medical records
• educate clients on common vaccinations, medications, and protocols
• assist with checkout and payments
• keep exam and treatment areas clean and stocked.
