What you'll do

• Assist cooks
• obtain products and small equipment for food preparation
• follow standard recipes and equipment instructions
• handle food safely and sanitarily
• wash wares and clean kitchen equipment, floors and work areas
• assist with food preparation and storage
• maintain inventories of cleaning supplies
• transfer supplies and equipment
• and complete assigned cleaning and maintenance tasks. Flexible hours may include nights, weekends and holidays.
