Preschool Assistant Teacher

The Preschool Assistant Teacher role is onsite in Kansas City, MO. Pay is $14–$17 per hour. The assistant teacher supports The Learning Experience’s mission to make a difference in the lives of children, families, and communities. The role partners with classroom teachers to create a safe, welcoming learning environment and implements the L.E.A.P. Curriculum with infants, toddlers, and/or preschool children according to each child’s needs. It also builds relationships with families and coworkers and supports center enrollment and engagement goals.

What you'll do

• Partner with classroom teachers to create an engaging classroom
• implement the L.E.A.P. Curriculum with infants, toddlers, and/or preschool children
• provide a safe and nurturing environment
• communicate children’s activities and achievements to parents through apps and conversations
• build relationships with families and coworkers
• support center enrollment and engagement goals.
