Transportation Supervisor (3rd Shift)

The Transportation Supervisor (3rd Shift) role is onsite in Ypsilanti, MI, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 9:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. or until shift completion, and the possibility of closing every other Saturday morning. Base salary is $65,000–$70,000 per year, with bonus potential based on KPIs. The role supports Core-Mark’s transportation operations and food distribution system. This supervisor manages daily transportation and delivery operations, leading and training drivers while supporting timely deliveries, regulatory compliance, fleet safety, and efficient routing. The position helps the team deliver goods reliably while managing operating costs and maintaining safe practices.

What you'll do

• Supervise, train, coach, and schedule drivers
• support timely deliveries and pickups
• assist with transportation administration, payroll calculations, trip logs, and expense reports
• monitor DOT compliance, driver safety, and fleet performance
• maintain driver and delivery records
• review post-trip inspections and truck maintenance
• coordinate efficient routing and help minimize operating expenses.
