Job overview

The Nutrition Assistant – School Food Service role is onsite at school locations in the Wayzata Public Schools district, with shifts of three to 4.75 hours per day. Starting pay is $24.18 per hour. The district Nutrition team prepares and serves scratch-made meals intended to support student success and belonging.

What you'll do

• Prepare, portion, and serve food according to standardized recipes and daily schedules
• set up, clean, and sanitize food-service areas
• use the point-of-sale system to check out students
• support food service at school or community events as needed
• attend required training
• follow district and department procedures
• communicate operational or safety concerns.
