The Psychologist/Psychiatrist, Behavioral Health Examiner (C&P Exams) role is part-time and in person in Dothan, AL, with a schedule of three weekdays between Monday and Friday, 8 a.m.–4 p.m. Pay is $62.50 per hour. The role supports U.S. Veterans through one-time, non-treatment disability evaluations submitted to the Department of Veterans Affairs. The examiner reviews medical history, conducts evaluations, completes disability benefits questionnaires and medical opinions, and documents findings electronically for VA review. The examiner does not provide ongoing treatment, prescribe medication, or make disability determinations.

What you'll do

• Review medical history and examination requests
• complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires and Medical Opinions through the EMR
• explain the exam process and confirm claimed conditions with the Veteran
• submit completed documentation within 24–48 hours
• administer and interpret psychological testing as needed
• follow applicable protocols for behavioral health or medical emergencies. Telehealth exams may be offered as needed.
