Piping Engineer

The engineer develops and checks piping and mechanical designs, calculations, specifications, and estimates for process and utility systems. The work supports safe, efficient, and constructible project solutions through coordination with other disciplines, field support, and technical guidance.

What you'll do

• Develop piping layouts, calculations, stress analyses, specifications, estimates, and material take-offs
• review vendor, fabrication, and construction drawings
• coordinate design information with other disciplines
• check calculations for accuracy and compliance with codes and specifications
• support field data gathering, tie-ins, startup, and construction
• advise on scope and design changes
• estimate and schedule engineering hours and assess work progress and quality.
