Behavior Technician (BT)

The Behavior Technician (BT) role is onsite in Clayton, NC, with services delivered in home, school, and community settings. Pay is $24–$29 per hour. POPS ABA provides applied behavior analysis services to children on the autism spectrum and people with other developmental challenges.

What you'll do

• Work with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized behavior intervention plans and provide one-on-one instruction using applied behavior analysis techniques, including discrete trial training and naturalistic teaching. Collect and record behavior and progress data
• help clients practice communication, socialization, self-care, and independent-living skills
• and communicate progress with families and team members. The posting also calls for reliable transportation and willingness to travel to clients’ homes, schools, or other settings.
