The Senior Corporate Accountant role is hybrid in McLean, VA, with onsite work Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. The stated target compensation is $125,000–$145,000 per year. Serving as deputy to the Controller, the accountant supports general ledger and corporate finance work while owning complex project accounting and billing. The role provides project financial insight to program and project managers and supports reporting, audits, budgeting, and integration as the organization grows.

What you'll do

• Post payroll and labor costs and reconcile them to the general ledger
• reconcile balance-sheet accounts and prepare trend analyses
• own project billing and expense accruals
• set up and maintain projects in Unanet
• review contract documents and modifications
• track project financial health and subcontractor costs
• support audits, reporting, budgeting, reforecasting, and acquisition integration
• train and mentor team members.
