Operator-in-Training — Water and Wastewater Treatment

What you'll do

• Operate and maintain water and wastewater treatment systems
• conduct basic laboratory tests, sampling, and meter readings
• inspect lagoons and treatment processes
• maintain equipment and accurate records
• inspect pumps, motors, valves, gauges, and related equipment
• perform routine custodial and grounds maintenance
• follow safety rules and permit requirements
• provide on-call services after normal work hours.
