Risk Management Coordinator

The Risk Management Coordinator position is onsite in Baton Rouge, LA. Compensation is not specified. The coordinator helps the organization identify and reduce preventable harm, strengthen emergency readiness, and sustain corrective actions. Working with Compliance, Operations, Clinical Leadership, Facilities, and clinical departments, the role coordinates preparedness activities, staff education, incident follow-up, policy review, safety rounds, and program reporting.

What you'll do

• Coordinate emergency preparedness training, drills, and exercises
• document drills and facilitate after-action reviews
• track improvement plans through closure
• develop and coordinate risk management and patient safety education
• review incident reports and track investigations and corrective actions
• trend event data and prepare reports
• coordinate policy reviews
• conduct patient safety and risk rounds
• document findings and follow corrective actions
• support risk management plans, assessments, regulatory readiness files, and committee activities.
