Lead Commercial HVAC Installation Technician

Job overview

The Lead Commercial HVAC Installation Technician position is full-time, onsite in the Pittsburgh area, with pay of $35–$45 per hour. Spurk HVAC is a family-run, non-union company with year-round commercial projects and a strong pipeline of work. This hands-on field leader coordinates commercial installation work, guides installers and apprentices, and communicates project progress and needs to project leadership. The role helps deliver installations that meet project requirements and quality standards while supporting crew development.

What you'll do

• Lead commercial HVAC installation work on assigned projects
• direct and support installers and apprentices
• install equipment, ductwork, piping, controls, and related components
• review blueprints and specifications
• organize daily crew workflow and coordinate with project managers and other trades
• track progress and material needs
• assist with start-ups and testing
• resolve field challenges and maintain installation quality.
