Assistant Project Manager, Commercial Glazing and Architectural Metal

Job overview

The Assistant Project Manager role is onsite in New York, NY, with occasional local project travel and compensation of $70,000 or more per year, based on experience. The role supports AM Glass Inc’s commercial glazing, curtain wall, storefront, architectural metal, and panel projects. Working alongside experienced Project Managers, the position coordinates project information and documentation from kickoff through closeout. It helps keep approvals, materials, schedules, change orders, and closeout requirements organized so projects can progress on schedule.

What you'll do

• Organize project kickoff requirements, records, milestones, and deadlines.
• Track submittals, shop drawings, approvals, purchase orders, supplier deliveries, and project schedules.
• Assist with change order documentation and pricing, communicate potential delays, coordinate information among project teams and suppliers, and support punch-list tracking and closeout packages.
