Senior Equipment Operator

Job overview

The Senior Equipment Operator role is onsite in Fort Worth, TX, and pays $20–$23 per hour. The position supports Valtir’s manufacturing facility, which produces highway safety products such as guardrails, end terminals, steel barriers, crash cushions, and sign supports. The operator sets up and runs production equipment to form parts to specifications. Preventive maintenance, minor troubleshooting, blueprint reading, and adherence to safety practices help maintain reliable production and product quality.

What you'll do

• Set up and operate production machines to cut, bend, straighten, or form parts according to blueprints, lay-up sequences, or templates
• perform preventive maintenance and minor troubleshooting
• operate at least three types of equipment, including shear, punch press, brake press, saw, drill press, or roller
• read blueprints
• follow safety rules and practices
• participate in safety committees or initiatives as applicable.
