What you'll do

• Perform repetitive assembly or packaging operations
• monitor for jams, defective material, and improperly seated parts and make corrections within the General Packer skill set
• follow standard operating procedures and communicate findings
• perform repetitive motions for eight hours
• move materials up to 40 pounds
• supply machine stations and operate a pallet jack
• maintain clean work areas
• check for improper operation and damaged packaging
• report unsafe conditions or faulty operations
• for molding operations, load packing materials, remove filled pans, weigh components, place pans or boxes on skids, complete electronic transactions, clear misloaded containers, and check finished products for defects.
