What you'll do

• Assist providers, RNs, and LPNs with examinations, procedures, and direct patient care
• perform venipuncture, EKGs, audiometry, retina screenings, and waived laboratory tests
• collect and log specimens
• administer medications and immunizations as directed, excluding IV medications
• conduct screenings
• record vital signs
• prepare examination rooms
• assist with sterilization, inventory, and equipment maintenance
• document in EMR
• process referrals
• participate in care team meetings
• communicate with patients, pharmacies, and providers
• maintain HIPAA and infection-control compliance.
