Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) – Tactical Performance

Job overview

The Registered Dietitian role is onsite in Honolulu, HI. The listed salary range is $100,000–$125,000 per year. The position provides nutrition services to Soldiers and other tactical personnel to support readiness, performance, recovery, and resilience. The dietitian assesses nutrition and performance needs, develops individualized and group strategies, and provides counseling and education. Collaboration with the Human Performance Team and monitoring outcomes help align nutrition interventions with operational requirements and injury prevention and rehabilitation efforts.

What you'll do

• Conduct nutrition assessments of dietary habits, body composition, energy expenditure, and performance goals
• develop individualized nutrition plans
• counsel and educate Soldiers, leaders, and unit personnel
• deliver group briefings and workshops on performance nutrition, hydration, supplementation, weight management, and recovery
• collaborate with Human Performance Team members
• monitor progress and adjust interventions
• maintain documentation and reports
• support injury prevention and rehabilitation through nutrition interventions
• stay current on sports nutrition and tactical performance research.

Why this role

Requires a master’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field; current RD or RDN credential; and at least three years of recent performance nutrition experience with athletes, military personnel, or tactical populations. CSSD is preferred.
