Web Press Apprentice — Offset Printing

The Web Press Apprentice role is onsite in Taylor, MI, with a Monday–Friday first-shift schedule from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Compensation is $17 per hour. The apprentice joins an experienced press crew to learn web offset press operations and develop toward becoming a press operator.

What you'll do

• Assist with paper handling, press preparation, web threading, cleanup, and production support under experienced operators
• learn to follow job tickets and specifications
• develop knowledge of quality checks, ink and color fundamentals, makeready, safety, and routine maintenance
• take on additional press responsibilities as skills develop
• maintain a clean and safe work area.
