What you'll do

• Perform clerical duties and act as unit receptionist
• coordinate unit and patient activities with other departments by computer and telephone
• maintain an orderly nursing station
• recognize cardiac rhythms under RN supervision, print and interpret telemetry strips, and promptly notify the RN of concerning changes
• document patient admissions and discharges, maintain logs, update patient locations and census, and track telemetry equipment.
