The Printing Press Operator role is onsite in Rochester, NY, with pay of $22–$30 per hour. Diamond Packaging develops sustainable packaging solutions, and this position works in its Printing Department. The operator checks print materials and press setup, monitors production quality and quantity, and maintains a clean machine and work area. The work supports accurate, high-quality printed packaging production.

What you'll do

• Review folder contents and plates for correct ink color and type
• complete line-clearance procedures and documentation
• monitor sheets throughout the run for quality and correct quantity
• purge related materials from the area
• maintain a clean machine and surroundings
• set feeder adjustments
• mount printing plates and register colors
• perform press wash-up and operate the press console and computer.
