The Senior Structural Engineer, Power & Utilities position is onsite in Austin, TX. Compensation is not specified. The engineer performs technical work on assigned projects, develops structural design solutions, and helps deliver projects on time, within budget, and to technical standards. The role also coordinates with project managers and other disciplines, reviews design work, and provides direction to designers and CAD operators.

What you'll do

• Perform engineering studies, design analyses, and discipline-specific design
• follow technical policies and procedures
• support project budgets, estimates, and schedules
• coordinate designs with other disciplines
• review shop drawings
• conduct construction-site inspections
• prepare engineering documents using design software
• provide technical direction and informal task supervision to design staff.

Why this role
