Customer Service Representative

Job overview

The Customer Service Representative role is based in Batavia, IL, with office attendance four days per week and one remote day. Compensation is $20 per hour. Blue Wave Products manufactures and imports home and leisure products and operates a warehouse and office facility in Batavia. The representative supports dealer and vendor relationships by answering product and order questions, resolving issues, and ensuring orders are entered and shipped accurately and promptly. The role coordinates with warehouse staff and other teams to provide effective customer support.

What you'll do

• Respond to customer correspondence within 24 hours
• process daily orders before cutoff
• maintain the stated order-entry accuracy goal
• troubleshoot customer issues and disputes
• coordinate documents with warehouse staff
• answer questions about quotes, products, orders, shipments, returns, billing, missing parts, and warranties
• enter orders
• prepare dealer reports
• document information
• work cross-functionally toward one-call resolution
• recommend process improvements.
