Accounts Receivable (AR) Clerk

The Accounts Receivable (AR) Clerk role is onsite in Newton, MA at least four days per week; compensation is $55,000–$65,000 per year. The clerk supports Spindrift’s cash flow and customer experience in a fast-moving consumer packaged goods environment. The role maintains accurate cash application, customer accounts, and receivables while researching deductions and resolving discrepancies with customers and internal teams to support timely accounting and month-end close.

What you'll do

• Apply incoming payments and research unapplied cash
• maintain customer account records
• monitor aging and follow up on past-due invoices
• prepare AR schedules and reconciliations
• assist with invoice corrections, portal submissions, and inquiries
• research deductions and short pays
• coordinate discrepancy resolution with Sales, Supply Chain/Logistics, and Customer Service
• support chargebacks and credit memos
• maintain audit trails and internal controls
• identify process improvements.
