Surgery Scheduler

The Surgery Scheduler role is fully onsite in downtown Houston, TX. Pay is $19–$22 per hour. Addison Group is partnering with a growing specialty medical practice to coordinate procedures with patients, providers, and surgical facilities. The scheduler manages surgery dates and related details, obtains required medical clearances, updates patient and procedure information in the EMR, and answers patient questions. The role helps ensure procedures are accurately scheduled and documentation is ready before surgery.

What you'll do

• Schedule procedures with hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, and providers
• coordinate surgery dates and communicate details to patients
• obtain required medical clearances
• work with physician offices, facilities, and patients
• update patient information and surgery details in the EMR
• answer scheduling and preparation questions
• maintain scheduling documentation and patient records
• collaborate with clinical and administrative teams.

Why this role

Two or more years of surgery scheduling experience is required. GI experience, eClinicalWorks experience, and bilingual English/Spanish skills are preferred but not required. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m.
