Traveling Dentist - Up to $50,000 Sign on Bonus is an onsite, full-time position in Chesapeake, VA. Compensation is not specified. This role is with Spencer Dental & Braces - a Benevis company. This position aims to provide high-quality dental care to underserved families, creating happy and healthy smiles. The Traveling Associate Dentist will be responsible for providing dental services to patients with the support of their team across multiple locations.

What you'll do

• Provide dental services to patients with the support of their team.
• Utilize DentaPro software, digital x-ray and Panorex units, and fiber-optic handpieces.
• Participate in yearly OSHA, HIPPA, and Emergency Management training.
• Work with a ratio of 1 hygienist, 1 hygiene assistant, and 2 dental assistants per provider.
• Patient base is primarily ages 3-21 and up to 30% adult population.
• Office flow averages 10-12 operative patients and 20-25 hygiene patients.
• Handle state insurance plans, PPO, and out-of-network payor mix.
• Willing and able to travel to 5900 E Virginia Beach Blvd, Norfolk, VA 23502 and 2338 E Little Creek Rd, Norfolk, VA 23518.

What we're looking for

Education

DDS/DMD

Experience

DDS/DMD from an accredited dental education program. Current, valid license to practice dentistry or eligible for licensure. CPR, DEA, and other required certifications. Nitrous Oxide certification (where applicable). Compassion and a strong desire to provide dental care.
