What you'll do

• Prepare estimates from conceptual design through construction documents
• review plans and scopes
• perform quantity take-offs and pricing
• solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor proposals
• develop budgets, allowances, contingencies, and projections
• support preconstruction and value engineering
• manage purchase orders and change orders
• monitor committed and actual costs
• identify variances
• conduct post-project cost analyses
• maintain vendor relationships, cost libraries, and estimating systems.
