Radiation Oncology Department Manager

The Radiation Oncology Department Manager role is onsite in Lancaster, SC, on a day shift with 40 scheduled hours per week; compensation is not specified. The manager will help develop radiation oncology services at MUSC Health Catawba’s Indian Land location and work with Hollings Cancer Center leaders to support established care models and quality standards. The role provides strategic, operational, and clinical leadership to build the service line, develop the team, and establish safe, high-quality patient care. It oversees daily operations, staffing, quality and safety, regulatory compliance, and financial and resource planning.

What you'll do

• Direct daily clinical, operational, and administrative activities
• plan and evaluate departmental operations
• optimize workflows, staffing, scheduling, and patient care delivery
• lead service development and performance improvement
• oversee recruitment, onboarding, staffing coverage, payroll, credentialing, and evaluations
• ensure clinical standards and regulatory requirements are followed
• partner with physics and dosimetry
• manage the department budget and support capital planning.
