The Registered Nurse (RN) — Emergency Mid-Shift role is onsite in Tustin, CA. The target pay range is $51.00–$65.00 per hour. The role supports Astrana Health’s patient-first care approach in an emergency department setting. The emergency department nurse rapidly assesses patients with emergent and urgent conditions, delivers evidence-based care, and evaluates responses to treatment. The RN collaborates with physicians and interdisciplinary teams, adjusts care plans, and supports continuity through patient education, discharge planning, and referrals.

Why this role

The posting requires an active, unencumbered California RN license, graduation from an accredited nursing school, AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS, and one year of emergency nursing experience including EMTALA and ESI five-level triage. The 12-hour shift uses blended pay: straight time for the first eight hours and 1.5x for hours over eight.
