HVAC Start-Up Technician

Job overview

The HVAC Start-Up Technician role is onsite in Okatie, SC, with pay of $25–$30 per hour, plus SPIFF opportunities. The position supports EAC Heating and Air’s residential heating and cooling service work in the Hilton Head area. The technician performs routine maintenance, inspections, common troubleshooting, and straightforward repairs while developing diagnostic skills with team support. The role also communicates system conditions to homeowners, follows service and safety procedures, and documents work and recommendations.

What you'll do

• Perform routine HVAC maintenance, tune-ups, and inspections
• troubleshoot common heating and cooling issues
• complete straightforward repairs and replace components as appropriate
• assist with identifying equipment problems and next steps on challenging calls
• explain system conditions and completed work to homeowners
• follow service and safety procedures
• document work and recommendations
• maintain vehicle, tools, and equipment.
