The Grant Writer works onsite in Spokane, WA, full-time, for $28.47–$29.14 per hour. As a member of Catholic Charities Eastern Washington’s Grants Team, the role supports proposals for the organization’s 15+ programs and its mission to feed the hungry, heal the hurting, and welcome the stranger. The writer leads proposal development and coordinates with program, finance, leadership, and other agency staff to prepare accurate, compliant funding packages. The role also researches and assesses funding opportunities and supports strategic fundraising goals.

What you'll do

• Lead proposal development from RFP review and kickoff through document review and submission
• coordinate proposal timelines and team collaboration
• prepare letters of intent, narratives, budgets, and attachments
• research and assess funding opportunities
• maintain funder relationships and grant files
• support fundraising strategy
• protect client health information
• attend occasional overtime and donor or funder events as directed.
