Rapid Rehousing Case Manager

The Rapid Rehousing Case Manager is an onsite role in Spokane, WA. Compensation is not specified. Catholic Charities Eastern Washington’s mission is to feed the hungry, heal the hurting, and welcome the stranger. The case manager provides case management and referrals to help residents move toward personal independence and stable housing. The role assesses housing barriers, develops client-driven plans, coordinates with landlords and community agencies, and documents progress and program activity.

What you'll do

• Provide alternative services, referrals, and mediation to help prevent homelessness
• conduct Coordinated Entry assessments and follow applicable diversion policies
• assess housing barriers
• help clients develop individualized housing stability plans
• maintain case files and document progress
• meet with clients to review goals and action steps
• liaise with landlords during housing searches and tenancies
• advocate with community agencies
• support grant requirements and reporting
• enter required HMIS data
• coordinate with program staff
• follow confidentiality and mandated-reporting procedures.

Why this role

Requires a bachelor’s degree in a social services field or equivalent experience, case management and direct client service experience, a valid driver’s license, and ability to drive for work. Experience with homelessness, poverty, and violence against women and children is preferred.
