Inventory & Production Planner

Job overview

The Inventory & Production Planner role is onsite in Buhl, ID, with annual compensation of $65,000–$75,000. The position supports inventory accuracy and production scheduling at Rangen’s feed manufacturing plant. The planner coordinates inventory control and production schedules so materials are available and plant capacity aligns with demand. The role works across production, procurement, FSQR, Finance, Customer Service, receiving, and warehouse teams to support traceability, compliance, and efficient operations.

What you'll do

• Perform cycle counts and investigate inventory discrepancies
• maintain inventory records in ERP or inventory systems
• monitor ingredient usage, spoilage, and stock rotation
• coordinate physical inventory counts and audits
• develop and adjust daily and weekly production schedules
• coordinate ingredient availability with procurement
• communicate schedules to operators and supervisors
• track production performance
• partner with FSQR on traceability and regulatory compliance
• support continuous improvement and Finance’s annual budget process.
