The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide individualized nursing care to residents, collaborating with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams to plan, implement, and evaluate care.

What you'll do

• Utilizes the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation) to provide individualized nursing care.
• Collaborates with resident, family, and interdisciplinary colleagues.
• Demonstrates competency and practices within the full scope of nursing expertise.
• Cares for residents in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment.
• Responsible for coordination of care, resident assessment, resident education, and nursing interventions.
• May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks.
• Provides technical support to healthcare professionals.
• Documents resident interactions and outcomes.
• Counsels residents and families on prevention and treatment plans.

What we're looking for

Education

Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred

Experience

3 months experience in Long Term Care required
