Preschool Teacher

The Preschool Teacher role is onsite in Fort Thomas, KY, with pay of $14.46–$18.80 per hour. The teacher supports Cadence Education’s classroom programs and early childhood learning. Working under the School Director and Lead Teacher, this role helps maintain a safe, inclusive classroom, support children’s developmental and behavioral needs, implement curriculum, and build positive relationships with families. The work contributes to children’s physical, social, emotional, developmental, and behavioral growth.

What you'll do

• Support an inclusive classroom
• welcome children and families
• respond to individual developmental, behavioral, cultural, and learning needs, including following IEPs and behavioral plans as directed
• assist with curriculum and Cadence Signature Programs
• communicate with families and coworkers
• follow safety and supervision procedures
• document and report incidents
• participate in required meetings, training, and professional development.

State licensing qualifications are required. An associate or bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or a related field and CDA are preferred, but not required if state requirements are met. Schedules may vary and are not guaranteed to be eight-hour shifts.
