What you'll do

• Prepare patients and rooms for examinations and treatment
• take vital signs
• give injections and apply splints and dressings
• prepare and sterilize supplies and equipment
• register and log referrals
• manage check-in, check-out, eligibility, copayments, scheduling, and appointment confirmations
• prepare charts and mail after-visit summaries
• obtain insurance authorizations
• relay provider communications
• maintain records and confidentiality
• provide backup surgery scheduling and procedure authorizations.
