Machine Operator / Drying Technician, Third Shift

The Machine Operator / Drying Technician, Third Shift role is onsite in Pendleton, IN. Pay is $21–$24 per hour, with an increase after forklift certification. Nutrition 101 recovers food waste and converts it into livestock feed, supporting food processors and sustainable agriculture. The operator runs and monitors drying equipment that converts liquid materials into powdered products, checks product quality, records production information, and follows safety and sanitation procedures to keep production running smoothly.

What you'll do

• Set up and operate drying equipment
• monitor performance through control panels and automated systems
• perform product quality checks
• adjust settings and troubleshoot as needed
• record production data and batch logs
• operate forklifts after certification
• use chemicals while wearing required PPE
• prepare finished products for storage or shipment
• clean and maintain equipment
• follow safety, sanitation, and quality procedures
• communicate with team members.

Why this role
