Job overview

The Design Project Manager — Architecture role is based in RQ Construction’s Jacksonville, FL office, with a hybrid schedule: in-office Monday through Wednesday and optional remote work Thursday and Friday. Compensation is $110,000–$150,000 per year. The role supports military Design-Build projects through the company’s Architecture department. The project manager provides technical leadership and coordination across design disciplines, representing clients and supporting project delivery from schematic design through construction documentation. The role applies architectural design, documentation, code, and coordination expertise across multiple active projects.

What you'll do

• Coordinate and oversee design disciplines including fire protection and life safety, civil engineering, landscape architecture, structural systems, interior design, mechanical and plumbing systems, electrical systems, and telecommunications/audio-visual/security
• provide client representation and project delivery coordination
• lead projects from schematic design through construction documentation
• apply architectural detailing, technical design, codes, and construction practices.
