Job overview

The Food Service Utility role is onsite at Stephen F. Austin University in Nacogdoches, TX, with pay of $12.14 per hour. The position supports Chartwells Higher Ed’s campus food service team. The role keeps kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils clean and orderly so food service operations can meet sanitation and safety requirements. It also supports the team by moving supplies, distributing equipment, and assisting with setup and deliveries.

What you'll do

• Sweep and mop floors
• wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food-preparation surfaces
• remove trash and clean garbage cans
• transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas
• assist with banquet table and front-of-house setup
• help load, unload, and deliver supplies and products
• distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment
• comply with sanitation and safety requirements
• perform other assigned duties.
