Community Engagement Specialist

The Community Engagement Specialist is an onsite role in Fresno, CA, paying $18.50 per hour. The role is part of The Arc Fresno/Madera Counties’ Pathfinders To Employment – East/Madera – Mobile ADP program, supporting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The specialist helps individuals participate in meaningful community activities and build daily-living skills and independence. The role develops community connections and resources, coordinates person-centered schedules, and documents progress and support needs.

What you'll do

• Provide individualized and group services
• assess individuals’ interests, strengths, and challenges
• identify community resources and volunteer opportunities
• develop weekly person-centered schedules
• document progress
• complete annual assessments and attend IDT meetings as needed
• support community transportation and independent travel options
• maintain files and vehicle readiness.
