CNC Lathe Machinist — Second Shift

The CNC Lathe Machinist role is onsite in Cincinnati, OH. Pay is $22–$32 per hour, plus a 10% shift differential; the schedule is Monday through Thursday, 2:00 p.m. to midnight, with overtime available. The role supports production for the client’s valve and related product lines. The machinist operates and sets up CNC machines, loads and unloads parts, checks tooling and cutting tools, and monitors machining accuracy. The role also performs first-piece inspections, makes program edits with support, mentors less-experienced machinists in the cell, and contributes to continuous improvement.

What you'll do

• Operate and set up CNC machines
• load and unload parts
• identify tooling, collets, fixtures, and jaws
• inspect cutting tools
• monitor machine settings and part tolerances using precision instruments
• adjust machine processes
• make CNC program edits with assistance and submit changes to the programmer
• perform first-piece inspections
• mentor less-experienced machinists
• support continuous improvement.
