Collections Specialist

What you'll do

• Contact customers about overdue balances by phone, email, and written correspondence
• review aging reports and prioritize collections
• negotiate payment arrangements and resolve disputes
• monitor delayed payments, non-payments, and credit holds
• research billing discrepancies and unapplied cash
• reconcile customer payments
• maintain collection notes and documentation in the accounting system
• escalate high-risk or severely delinquent accounts
• collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, and Accounting
• comply with company policies and applicable collection laws.
