What you'll do
- Provides resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
- Assists with bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, obtaining vital signs, and providing psychosocial support.
- Assists residents with transfers, repositioning, and walking.
- Completes tasks related to food preparation and dining.
- Documents resident interactions and communicates changes in condition to the charge nurse.
What we're looking for
- Education
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position.
- Experience
- High school graduate or GED preferred. Minimum age of 16. Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
