Assistant Educator — Morning Support

The Assistant Educator — Morning Support role is onsite in Bennington, NE. Compensation is $15–$17 per hour. The role supports Yellow Brick Road’s early learning environment for children and families. Working with the Lead Educator, the assistant helps provide a safe, nurturing classroom where children can learn, develop social and emotional skills, and follow daily routines. The role supports curriculum activities, student supervision, family communication, and classroom care.

What you'll do

• Assist the Lead Educator with play-based, age-appropriate lesson plans and activities
• help maintain a positive classroom culture
• supervise and engage students
• support developmental progress documentation as directed
• clean and sanitize classroom areas and materials
• guide conflict resolution and problem-solving using developmentally appropriate techniques
• support schedules and routines
• communicate with families during drop-off and pick-up and through the parent communication app
• collaborate with colleagues and supervisors.
