What you'll do

• Provides physical therapy services according to a written physician's plan of care.
• Advises, consults, and teaches appropriate treatment procedures and supportive activities.
• Assists the provider in evaluating the level of function and participates in the development of the plan of care.
• Prepares clinical and progress notes, translates exercises into functional activities, and develops plans for modifying equipment.
• Confers with the provider regarding client progress and interprets social and physical factors affecting care.
• Interprets treatment implications to the client and family and provides support.
• Supervises physical therapy assistants and maintains accurate clinical records.

What we're looking for

Education

Graduate from an approved School of Physical Therapy

Experience

2 years experience in an acute hospital or equivalent experience preferred
