The Cook role is onsite at The Wheeler School in Providence, RI, with compensation of $20–$21 per hour. The role supports consistent meal service through careful portioning, kitchen upkeep, equipment care, and coordination with coworkers and supervisors.

What you'll do

• Prepare food according to standardized recipes and service schedules
• portion and serve meals at appropriate temperatures
• maintain service records
• clean the kitchen and store or discard food safely
• maintain refrigerators and storerooms
• operate and care for kitchen equipment
• assist with production planning, records, ordering, and receiving
• follow HACCP and safety procedures.
