What you'll do

  • Depending on credentials and clinic needs, welcome, room, and triage pediatric patients
  • obtain and document vital signs
  • communicate findings to providers
  • document visits in the EMR
  • assist with procedures and patient care
  • administer medications within scope
  • collect specimens and perform applicable CLIA-waived testing
  • prepare and maintain rooms
  • support patient and caregiver education
  • assist with radiology
  • support registration, insurance verification, telephone support, and payment collection
  • follow HIPAA, OSHA, and clinical safety standards.
