What you'll do

• Clean storage, fuel, marine, and industrial tanks using specialized equipment and cleaning agents
• test atmospheric conditions with gas detection equipment
• remove sludge, residue, scale, and hazardous waste
• operate pumps, pressure washers, vacuum trucks, and ventilation systems
• follow confined-space entry and lockout/tagout procedures
• use required PPE
• assist with inspections and maintenance preparation
• dispose of waste according to environmental regulations
• maintain safety and cleaning records
• coordinate with supervisors and safety personnel on OSHA and company standards.
